Lloydspharmacy issued a release regarding their new online service that allows women to buy the 'morning after pill' online, in advance of need. Coverage was widespread, with a number of national newspapers, including the Telegraph.co.uk and The Sun, covering the story. Healthcare Republic, a Haymarket primary care news site, covered the story on the 'Editor's Blog' with a post written by online editor Emilie Reymond. The post covered the areas of controversy surrounding the story, but covered the safeguards Lloydspharmacy have in place to prevent abuse of the service.
