Vertex Builds on its Success with Appointment of New Managing Director for its Mortgage Division

VERTEX has appointed Mark Charlesworth as Managing Director for its Mortgage Division. He will become a member of the Vertex Senior Management team reporting directly to Vertex’s Chief Operating Officer Jeff Chittenden.

Mark has over 20 years experience of the sector and spent the last 10 years as the Managing Director of three mortgage and loans businesses -CITI UK, The Mortgage & Loan Group and The Mortgage Business (TMB).

He has worked in both large matrix and smaller entrepreneurial organisations and has a breadth of management experience, with a deep knowledge of the market.

Most recently Mark has worked with Citigroup managing all Citi mortgage services across Future Mortgages and Egg.

Commenting on his new role as Vertex Managing Director for Mortgages, Mark said, “I am delighted to accept the appointment, which is a tremendous opportunity to take Vertex’s Mortgage division forward into a new phase of development. I look forward to building on the current market opportunities, creating revenue and growth for the company.
