Eblana Photonics announces new TO-38 based TOSAs - Targeted at 4Gbit/s Fiber Channel applications in the 1310 nm wavelength band

Dublin Ireland, 6 March 2006 – Eblana Photonics Ltd, which supplies market disrupting laser components for leading edge advanced networking applications, today annnounced a breakthrough laser product targeted at single mode 4Gbit/s Fiber Channel applications.  This product series, the  EP1310-FC4X and its TOSA version, the EP1310-FC4X-OSA, expands on Eblana’s recently announced LDM product series for 10GBASE-LX4 applications and the 1310nm DFB laser replacement, the EP1310-DM laser series which is targeted at price sensitive Fiber-To-The-Home (FTTH) GEPON PX20 and GPON applications.
