Changes Sweep Mobile Roaming, Financial And Data Clearing Industry

- Cibernet merges with MACH to create super company -

Luxembourg, 15th May 2007 – MACH, the leading global clearing and settlement partner for mobile based transactions and Cibernet, the leading mobile roaming business solutions provider announced today that the two companies have officially merged to form a new company with a global reach, serving over 650 mobile operator clients. The new look business will continue under the name of MACH; it will draw on the heritage, skills and expertise of both companies to serve mobile operators that aim to develop their mobile roaming, data clearing and financial settlement businesses.

Cibernet is a name synonymous with mobile roaming in North America, while MACH is the leading provider of clearing and settlement systems to operators in the rest of the world. The two entered into a merger agreement in March 2007, announcing their strategy to form a company that would have the capability and reach to support mobile operators across the world as the demand for mobile roaming and related services from mobile subscribers continues to increase.

The new look MACH offering will be built on the foundation of MACH’s robust MDS platform, a scalable ‘best in class’ system for data clearing that is widely used by MACH’s existing client base, that is also a launch pad for clients to integrate related services to add value to their portfolio. This infrastructure will be combined with The One1Clear system, a financial clearing platform that was developed by Cibernet. Renowned as a pioneering solution, it will underpin the financial clearing side of the operation.
