Third annual photo contest awards four trips to U.S. valued at 4000€
American Tourister (www.americantourister.eu), the affordable brand of stylish luggage, is delighted to announce the return of its much-anticipated “WHERE I’M AT” online photo contest. The search for the coolest, funniest and most creative travellers features a new set of exciting categories, challenging travellers to share their unrivaled travel experiences around the world in categories including: Friendship: Nothing Nicer Than Travelling with Friends; Peace of Mind: Relax Breathe and Be Yourself on Holiday; Adrenalin: How Brave Are You During Your Adventurous Trip; and Nature: Discover the Beauty of the Planet. Four winning images will be chosen, one from each category. The winners will each receive a voucher for a spectacular €4.000 trip of a lifetime to the USA.
Entering is easy, contestants simply upload their favorite travel-related photos through the American Tourister website into one of the four categories. Each month for the duration of the contest, through 18 February 2013, American Tourister will award one photo per category with a highly coveted American Tourister badge. A total of 20 photos will be chosen for a final jury selection of four winning photos—one per category. The four winning photos will be published on the AT website.
Since its launch in October, 2011, hundreds of keen and creative travellers have captured their travel adventures through a fun and interactive photography contest, with the chance to win a grand prize trip to the USA.
“Memories are the greatest souvenir a traveller can return home with and pictures are an ideal way to capture those special moments,” Edouard Wattel, Director Communications Samsonite Europe. “Where I’M AT’ is the perfect way for travellers to collectively share their memories and favorite trips in a young and colourful spirit, with the added opportunity to travel even more.”
Imaginative entries in the 2012 Where I’m AT contest from independent travellers, families and friends, included an array of pictures across five categories that were uploaded onto the American Tourister website including: “The Most Adventurous Picture,” “The Most Colourful Group,” “The Most Remote Place,” and “The Most Romantic Place.” The winners, selected by a jury, were from all over Europe and included a view from the ‘top’ of Las Vegas (UK), a journey to the secluded Mount Ngauruhoe In New Zealand (Germany), a colorful image from Seoul, South Korea (UK), and a romantic shot in Costa Rica (France).
