Berkeley PR Wins Best PR Campaign Award

Local PR agency wins at the B2B Marketing Awards with client Iron Mountain

23 November - Berkeley PR has fought off stiff competition to win in the “best public relations campaign” category at this year’s prestigious B2B Marketing Awards 2012, in London. The agency won the accolade for a pan-European campaign it devised with global information management company, Iron Mountain.

The B2B Marketing Awards ceremony, held at The Honourable Artillery Company in central London, is regarded as a respected business-to-business marketing event in the calendar. This year, it was attended by over 700 people with entries from leading global brands including Google, British Gas, Fujitsu and Cable and Wireless and SAP to name some.

The best PR campaign went to Berkeley PR for its concept with Iron Mountain called CIR (Corporate Information Responsibility) against short-listed agencies including Brands2Life, Gyro, Rostrum and Tangerine.

The high profile PR campaign aimed to raise awareness among business leaders of the urgent need to protect and make the most of information. The campaign included the creation of Europe’s first ‘Information Risk Maturity Index’, which revealed just how exposed most firms were. 

An international press summit held in La Bolsa de Madrid in March 2012 brought experts, analysts and journalists together to discuss the issues uncovered by research from PwC and explore opportunities for action.

To date, the campaign has secured more than 250 items of media coverage, including articles in the Financial Times, the Times and Bloomberg as well as leading European business publications.
