NEXT generation MVNA Cognatel has today launched CyCell - a new MVNO service from the producers of the UK’s first customizable mini phone.
CyCell will become the only UK MVNO to offer a white label mobile handset with simple tailored mobile packages. CyCell has developed a platform that allows for rapid design and manufacture of credit card sized branded mobile phones. Each customer will be able to develop a unique device within a fraction of the time it would take to design a mobile phone through traditional manufacturing channels. Utlising Cognatel’s number translation capability this allows for a simple phone interface with all the call routing based within the network.
By combining CyCell’s platform with Cognatel’s MVNA technology and utilizing the Vodafone network, CyCell are uniquely positioned to create new usage cases and applications for voice based mobile telephony, and a new breed of users and income streams.
Having recently secured investment for product enhancement and obtaining experienced entrepreneur Dale Murray as Chair, CyCell have completed development of its easy-to-use handsets alongside its own branding facility. CyCell’s new MVNO service aims to offer new demographics the benefits of mobile telephony such as into the elderly and care sectors.
