GP Bullhound, the technology investment bank, opens an office in Berlin through the integration of German corporate finance house Pure Equity Advisors GmbH (“Pure Equity”). This follows last year’s successful opening of GP Bullhound’s office in Stockholm, in addition to existing offices in London and San Francisco.
With the acquisition of Pure Equity, headed up by Julian Riedlbauer, GP Bullhound establishes itself firmly in Germany, Europe's leading market for many of GP Bullhound's key areas such as eCommerce, Digital Media, Software, Gaming and Greentech. Julian joins GP Bullhound as a Partner and his extensive network of German Venture Capital and Corporate relationships will serve GP Bullhound’s international client base well. The addition of a Berlin office compliments the firm’s London and Stockholm bases with a local presence in yet another major European innovation hot spot, further expanding its pan-European coverage. GP Bullhound believes in being close to innovation, having a natural place in the entrepreneurial eco-system, so it can serve its clients better.

In the four years before setting up Pure Equity Advisors, Julian advised clients as one of the Managing Directors of Corporate Finance Partners in Germany.
