Trevor Foster, GIS Manager, South West Commissioning Support commented, “As a cartographer by trade, final map output and design are as important as the GIS analysis and styling to me. The cartographic improvements in v12.0, such as improved label placement, scalebar production, legend and layout design are all very welcome and will improve our maps even further than those we already produce”
“The enhancements in this release have been specifically developed from all of our customers’ feedback with significant improvements around cartographic output. GIS professionals and location intelligence analysts will find that they can work smarter, not harder,” said James Brayshaw, Director and General Manager, LI and GIS, EMEA, Pitney Bowes Software.
“In addition, the new MapInfo website has been built for our users and partners alike to find information easily on the MapInfo Suite of products and is a reflection of our commitment to build the MapInfo community and the MapInfo brand,” he added.
