London, 7th September, 2010 - PageOne, the UK’s leading mobile messaging company to the enterprise and public sector, has been awarded ‘outstanding status’ by Investors in Customers (IIC), the independent service standard expert. This is in recognition for its outstanding level of customer service and strength of customer relationships.
Investors in Customers recognises excellence in the field of customer service and customer relationships and annually presents participating companies with one, two or three stars depending on their achievement. PageOne’s was awarded its two star ‘outstanding status’ following a rigorous process of research. This research included employee and customer questionnaires, which looked at a number of areas such as how well a company understands and meets its client’s needs, and how effective they are at engendering customer and staff loyalty. PageOne’s overall assessment score has increased by 8.5% within the space of a year, highlighting the company’s commitment and dedication to enhancing the customer experience. The award also highlights how PageOne has managed to retain its corporate ethos of always placing the customer at the heart of its business.
Of particular note is that customer feedback on the PageOne service experience has dramatically increased following new processes and service improvements introduced by the company since it was awarded one star in 2009. In addition, desk research results, which assesses the extent to which the customer sits at the heart of the business has increased by 11%, again reflecting these improvements.
Neil Craig, Managing Director of Investor in Customers, said: ‘PageOne have worked on their customer relationships very effectively over the last 12 months. Improvements can be seen across all areas of the business, and they truly deserve this leap from one to two stars in just one year.’
He continued ‘It will be interesting to see where PageOne go from here as they have shown a clear determination to continue improving on their customer care standards. We see them as strong candidates for three stars, our highest category, which we believe they can achieve’. And if they manage it, PageOne would become the first IIC assessed business to go from one to two, and 3 stars in successive years - a unique achievement in itself.”
Chris Jones, CEO of PageOne Communications said: ‘We are absolutely delighted with this result. We have made significant service, communication and technological improvements over the past year and receiving ‘outstanding status’ clearly reflects our continuous passion to provide a good service to our clients at all times, and our desire to continuously drive this company forward’.
