SkillSoft Announces Perspectives 2012 Event Agenda and Keynote Address

Former Cabinet Member David MacLeod to Keynote; Customer Speakers to Include John Lewis Partnership, Royal Bank of Scotland and British Petroleum

25 May - Camberley, UKSkillSoft today announced the event agenda for its 2012 Annual Perspectives Customer Conference, including topics for learning sessions, customer testimonials and a keynote address by former cabinet member and author of ‘The Extra Mile’, David MacLeod.

The theme of this year’s conference, taking place on Thursday 12 July in London, UK, is “Motivate, Innovate, Learn.” SkillSoft hosts the yearly event for its customers as an interactive forum to discuss innovations in the learning industry. In his keynote presentation, former cabinet member and author of ‘The Extra Mile,’ a book on how to engage staff in large organisations, David MacLeod will address key leadership principles such as the importance of employee engagement.

Due to present will be Gill Holehouse, Systems Development Methods Manager, John Lewis Partnership, on the company’s e-Learning strategy and how the business has benefitted from working with SkillSoft. Also planned is a lively customer panel featuring Donna Hamilton, Group Head of Learning at the Royal Bank of Scotland and Nick Shackleton-Jones, Group Head of e-Learning at British Petroleum.
