Cloud-based blended learning solution Speexx continues to gain world class recognition in delivering improved business communication skills
Munich/Beijing – 31, May 2012 Speexx, the leading online language training provider, has been awarded with the prestigious 2012 Golden Engine Award for Strategically and Sustainably Driving China’s Education Industry. Speexx took the top spot in the ‘Best contribution to the improvement of the education industry’ category. The national award has been initiated by the Chinese Ministry of Science and Technology and it was presented to Speexx by China’s biggest computer software magazine ‘China Information World’ at the 16th Chinese international software exposition in Beijing today.

Armin Hopp, Founder and President of Speexx, comments, “With more than 300 million speakers China will soon be the largest English-speaking country of the world. However there is scope for improvement in applying the linguistic skills within a business context. Due to China’s rapid economic growth, the appetite for language skills is increasing further, particularly amongst businesses who appreciate that fluency in foreign languages provides greater access to global markets. We are particularly delighted to be presented with this award, as it shows our recognition and leading position in the Chinese education industry.”
The award was presented on May 31 at the Chinese International Software exposition which was held at the Beijing Exhibition Centre. The expo* is the largest industrial exhibition in China and promotes the improved industrial communication, commercial cooperation and development of local industry. Speexx is the only non-Chinese company to be presented with this award.
Speexx is the recipient of over 200 prestigious awards worldwide. The adoption of Speexx in China is also being supported locally with the top 10 Chinese University for International Business and Economics (UIBE) in Beijing to deliver language learning courses in English, German, French, Spanish and Italian.
