Westfield London Shopping Centre is excited to announce the opening of its first ever real ice rink this Saturday 13th November. Not only is it one of the first ice rinks to open in the capital this winter but the rink is indoors meaning there is never any worry about the weather outside. Visitors can take time out from their shopping or make a night of it by sampling the culinary delights from a choice of over 50 places to dine followed by skating under Westfield London’s stunning glass roof and dazzling Christmas lights.
To launch the opening, Dancing On Ice judge Robin Cousins will be first to hit the ice for a photocall on Friday 12th November. After a successful figure skating career dating back thirty years and gold medals from the Olympic and European Championships in 1980, who better to lead the way than the iconic skater himself! Also joining Robin on the ice will be Christmas character “The Snowman” to bring some Christmas cheer to the launch.
Public skating begins on Saturday 13th November right through to 3rd January and excludes Christmas Day only, making it a perfect weekend and Christmas holiday activity. All ages from 4 years and up are welcome and skaters can be any standard from first timers right up to professionals.
Expected visitor numbers are high so pre-booking tickets is advisable. For more information and other Westfield London offers please see: www.westfield.com/london.
Get your skates on and come and enjoy the fabulous real Ice skating at Westfield London this year!
