Artesian Solutions Named Cool Vendor For 2010 By Gartner

Artesian Solutions selected as one of only three cool vendors in CRM sales by Gartner

Artesian Solutions, the provider of web-based market intelligence and surveillance software, announced today that it was named in Gartner's prestigious "Cool Vendors of 2010" report in the CRM Sales category. Gartner's research identified Artesian Solutions as a "Cool Vendor" due to its use of semantic matching technology which helps commercial organisations accelerate their sales performance.

Andrew Yates, CEO at Artesian Solutions, said:
“We are excited and very proud that Artesian Solutions has been acknowledged by such a prestigious analyst as Gartner and to be chosen as a cool vendor for 2010. It’s a great accolade for our team and adds industry support to our company’s vision of helping businesses to use the power of the web and social media more effectively. To be named by Gartner, an industry recognised leading research authority, is especially pleasing. The award will also be a great way for us to connect with other like minded businesses and learn from other peoples’ experience.”

Artesian Solutions has been recognised as a cool vendor because it benefits its customers by offering improved sales productivity by reducing the cost, time and pain of filtering the web and social networks for critical sales intelligence saving time for salespeople in researching target accounts and contacts. The software-as-a-service application delivered through the cloud presents its results either fully integrated into the clients CRM system or through tailored gazettes, tag clouds, email alerts, dynamic searches, company watch lists, buzz monitoring indicators or by identifying key contacts in social networks such as LinkedIn.

Yates continues:
“A recent fact-based study of over 500 showed the impact of Corporate Enterprises employing technology from Artesian Solutions which include higher quota attainment, increased selling time, shorter sales cycles and higher lead conversion. This report from Gartner further validates the place that semantic based automated intelligence gathering applications will have in the B2B sector for which Artesian is well placed to succeed.”

The announcement from Gartner comes on the back of a fantastic 12 months for Artesian Solutions, who has won key accounts with Barclays, SITA UK, JDA International, EPICOR and Business Stream (a Scottish Water Company). Artesian Solutions during that time has also been identified by UKTI’s Web Mission as one of the UK’s most influential enterprise 2.0 companies and chosen by Microsoft as one of the world’s top 100 most promising start-up’s under their invitation only BizSparkOne program.
