Nabs announces winners of Fast Forward 2009 - LBi are on the winning team

The winners of this year's Nabs Fast Forward course have been announced and LBi's Sarah Stinton is part of the winning team. Sarah is a Creative Designer at the Brick Lane offices and has been with LBi since May 2006 having originally joined as a graduate.

Every year, Fast Forward sets a live advertising brief, sponsored by a client, to newbies who are in their first few years in the ad industry. This year, LBi are proud to announce that Sarah Stinton is on the winning team. The Nabs course offers the attendees the opportunity to see through an entire pitch process and gives delegates the opportunity to work closely with team members from other disciplines. It also includes fantastic speakers from the industry to offer inspiration throughout each stage of the pitch process.

This year, the delegates were given a brief by Vodafone to develop a proposition for their "World of Difference" programme. Sarah joined the programme with 3 other LBi-ers 9 weeks ago. They all joined different teams learning how to execute an effective brief and deliver an excellent award - winning idea. Along the way the teams had expert guidance from industry leaders including Laurent Ezekiel, Global Client Partner at LBi who has been a mentor on the programme for two years running. In the lead-up to the final pitch they all put in extra hours, long nights and a lot of hard work to help make a finished product.

The company will now develop the winning idea which was presented by the team including LBi's Sarah Stinton and other team members from PSB, Delaney Lund Knox Warren, JWT, Altogether Digital, MediaCom, Dare and Leo Burnett.

The winners will be rewarded with VIP tickets to next year's British Grand Prix, as guests of Vodafone, including exclusive access to the pit lane and a private audience with Lewis Hamilton.

Laurent Ezekiel, Global Client Partner at LBi says
"The NABS Fast Forward course provides real inspiration and learning for delegates and mentors alike. It has established itself as one of the industry’s leading courses and year in, year out provides delegates with thriving content, a real life pitch environment and a lot of fun. It’s been a pleasure mentoring another team in 2009, the overall quality of delegates was very high".

Sarah Stinton, Designer at LBi says " The NABS Fast Forward course was a fantastic opportunity for me to see through the whole pitch process and get an insight into how important collaboration is with other disciplines. The sheer scope of this year’s brief was a real challenge, but one the whole team relished and the mentors we had were brilliant. It was really hard work but it was a great experience, and obviously a fab prize at the end of it! "
