Mark Robinson, Managing Vice President Sales and Marketing at Hitachi Consulting, the winner of Chief Executive Officer of Business Intelligence Partner of the Year and Middleware Partner of the Year, comments: “Receiving even just one award is a great accolade, but to win two awards is a tremendous achievement and a reflection of the commitment and dedication of our consultants.

The economic downturn has forced enterprises to stay abreast of dramatic changes in their business and to re-think their strategies and operating plans. Business stakeholders are demanding greater transparency about company finances, operations, decisions and core performance metrics, placing Business Intelligence and SOA in greater demand.

We’re delighted to be recognised for our work in these two critical technology areas. These awards are a testament to the strength of our commitment to the partnership, today and in the future. I accept these awards on behalf of the UK team and look forward to a continued and prosperous partnership, delivering on our promise of superior strategy, people, process and technology solutions.”

We are particularly proud of this year’s award as it reflects the outstanding work performed by our team across a number of diverse Hyperion Enterprise Performance Management projects. Innovative approaches, high development standards and proactive client engagement have all contributed to us delivering maximum value from Oracle Hyperion technology for our customers. We are grateful to those clients that have embraced our approach. We see this award as their independent endorsement of our services.”

Fiona Martin, Oracle Alliance Executive of Shared Services Partner of the Year winner IBM UK and Ireland, comments: “IBM is delighted to win a record 6 Oracle User Group Partner awards. These awards demonstrate that customers really value IBM as a solution provider, as well as a partner in their business. It was great that some of our customers were able to join us at the awards ceremony to share the success.”

Alex Stevenson, Managing Director at Training Partner of the Year winner Rosetta Stone, comments: "We are delighted to have won the UK Oracle User Group's silver Business Intelligence and gold Training Partner of the Year awards this year.

Our thanks go to our customers who voted for us.  We have been providing BI and data warehousing services since 1998 and have worked with a broad range of companies in that time.  Their satisfaction in the work we do and resulting joint success is what we strive for.  An important factor in achieving this is our partnership with Oracle: the active support we receive and access to a rich BI product set.  It's great, therefore, to have our collective efforts recognised with these awards."

Noel Gorvett, Managing Partner at Consulting Partner of the Year, Cost-efficient Partner of the Year and Customer Service Partner of the Year winner Amosca comments: “We are delighted with our triple gold and bronze win at the UKOUG Partner of the Year Awards. A special thanks to our customers and the Oracle community who nominated us and recognised the AMOSCA team's commitment to delivering outstanding, cost effective services and support.”

Colin Robinson, Vice President of Siebel Partner of the Year winner Innoveer, comments: "Innoveer has been a proud Oracle partner since the company's founding in 1998.  Being awarded a preferred partner award, which was determined by a vote of Oracle users, is a resounding validation of our commitment to our customers and our partnership with Oracle, as well as our CRM expertise and high level of customer satisfaction."

DSP Managed Services’ Service Delivery Director Dev Nayak and winner of Database Partner of the Year, E-Business Suite Partner of the Year, Applications Partner of the Year and Technology Partner of the Year comments: “I am absolutely thrilled that DSP has won 6 awards at the UKOUG Partner of the Year 2009, including being named as Gold partner in all 4 of our specialist categories; E-Business Suite, Applications, Technology and Database – and then picking up Silver for both Consulting and Customer Service Partner of the year. It makes me very proud of team DSP to know that we are the most awarded partner of the event!

The significance of winning a user group award and the understanding that it is our customers that have voted for us to win makes them the most credible and authentic awards within the Oracle market. It is direct recognition of each and every one of our consultants that are working day by day with our customers creating Oracle solutions that make a difference to their businesses.

One of the most important aspects of these prestigious awards is that it creates a space to stop and acknowledge our team's achievements. It is the punctuation of these major awards that proves that our consultants heroic efforts count, and supply us with even further motivation to keep pushing to achieve all of our goals.

These awards are a reflection of our fantastic customers and we would like to thank them for their continued support and trust. Finally, I would like to congratulate our committed and creative work force who have truly earned and deserved these awards.”
