Who Will Win the ‘Brain of the City’ Prize?
20th September 2018: Artesian Solutions, the provider of market leading client intelligence tools that dramatically transform sales processes, is set to host the ‘Brain of the City’ Quiz for this year’s Lord Mayors Appeal City Giving Day. Run in partnership with Digital Consultancy Synechron and law firm Pinsent Masons, the quiz is just one of many events taking place on Tuesday 25th September across the City of London to celebrate the work and success of the hundreds of charities and communities that the City supports, and of course raise vital funds so that they can continue their mission to create a better city for all.
A team from Artesian will run the quiz which promises to offer something for everyone, including London themed, music and picture rounds, as well as a head-to-head competition. With a team from Synechron managing the event, including registering teams and running a raffle. The event is to be held at the Pinsent Masons office at 30 Crown Plaza, EC2, and will culminate with one team winning the accolade of ‘Brain of the City’.
The Lord Mayor’s City Giving Day raised in excess of £400,000 in 2017 with over 200 charities directly benefitting as a result. City Giving Day provides a powerful opportunity and incentive to enhance and showcase community investment activities. Being part of a collective endeavour adds to a shared sense of purpose across the city and augmented recognition, publicity and recruitment.
Speaking about the event Nick Boardman, Senior Customer Success Manager at Artesian, and Quiz Master for the night said: “The ‘Brain of the City’ Quiz promises to be a huge success. 20 teams are set to take part, which in itself will raise in excess of £1,000 in participant entry fees. Artesian is delighted to make our debut at City Giving Day alongside our friends at Synechron and Pinsent Masons, it is an honour and privilege to get involved in what is an incredibly important annual event, coming together with like-minded businesses to support valuable causes, and collectively have a lasting impact on solving the problems faced by many who live and work in the City of London.”
