Box.org joins the tt-exchange donated technology programme

Charities can now easily and securely manage files in the cloud

16th June 2015 – Technology Trust has announced that Box.org (Box’s initiative to empower nonprofits with technology to achieve their missions) has joined the tt-exchange programme. This will give UK charities access to 10 Box licenses for a fraction of the regular list price.

Eligible UK charities can now benefit from Box’s cloud-based collaboration platform for a single admin fee of £55 (+VAT). Box allows users to access, share and collaborate on time-sensitive work in the cloud from any device. This means that staff, trustees, volunteers, aid workers and other external partners can all communicate and access the required information to manage projects securely from wherever they are around the world.

Organisations can also securely integrate their Box account with applications such as Google Docs, Microsoft Office and Office365, Salesforce and Netsuite.

“There is enormous potential for innovation in the nonprofit sector, but many organizations are lacking even basic IT resources, and most are working with limited budgets,” said David Quantrell, Box senior vice president and general manager of EMEA. “We’re thrilled that our technology is able to help organizations committed to doing good and serving others around the world.”

The growing network of tt-exchange partners will allow Technology Trust to help even more charities benefit from the use of technology.

“We are thrilled to have Box.org join tt-exchange,” said Richard Craig, CEO of Technology Trust. “Having easy access to a cloud collaboration service such as Box helps charities and not-for-profit organisations to work remotely and flexibly – allowing them to do as much as they can, regardless of their location.”

“We want to encourage charities to take advantage of the cloud and all it has to offer.”

This donation is available to NEW Box accounts and provides 10 licenses. They do not expire or need to be renewed.
