HICKORY, NC, 17 May 2012 - CommScope, Inc., a global leader in infrastructure solutions for communications networks, will showcase its Living Infrastructure approach for designing, deploying and evolving data centres during the Datacentres 2012 Conference in Nice, France this month.
In addition to exhibiting as a Lead Industry Sponsor, CommScope’s technical director for EMEA, David Tanis, will give a presentation on “Cabling for Big Data” in the main conference theatre at 11:30 a.m. CET on May 24. David will talk about the impact that “Big Data” is having on many organizations, and the important role that cabling infrastructure is playing in future proofing and improving data center performance. David will also illustrate how intelligent infrastructure systems can be deployed to monitor and manage the physical layer of data centers, and why they are a key part of data centre infrastructure management strategies.
“The exponential growth of data presents organizations with a new set of challenges that they cannot afford to overlook,” said Koen ter Linde, vice president, Enterprise sales, European region, CommScope. “Through our Living Infrastructure approach, CommScope enables data center customers to prepare for the challenges of tomorrow, today. By working closely with our customers throughout the planning and implementation stages we’re able to help them gain more value from their investments, both now and in the years to come.”
Now in its eighth year, the Datacentres Conference has evolved to become a global meeting place and forum. With more than 35 countries and 700 attendees represented in 2011, the organizers, BroadGroup, teamed up with organizations in Europe and North America whose memberships will extend the breadth of audience and horizon of opportunity.
“As the flagship event for companies engaged in the data centre and cloud sector, this year will offer the most comprehensive range of insight tracks, educational sessions, keynotes and workshops complemented by a major exhibition and high networking values,” said Warwick Dunkley, vice president, BroadGroup. “We are delighted that CommScope is participating, and their global experience will add greatly to the value of the debate.”
