Econsultancy announces Innovation Awards 2012 shortlist


Econsultancy has today announced the shortlist for its 2012 Innovation Awards, recognising pioneering developments in digital marketing and e-commerce from across the globe in 19 categories.

More than 450 entries were submitted for the prestigious international awards, which are now in their fourth year. The first round of judging was conducted by Econsultancy’s internal team including Research Director Linus Gregoriadis and VP of Research (US) Stefan Tornquist.

Chris Lake, Director of Innovation at Econsultancy said: "A commitment to innovation is so important in modern business. Creative thinking and experimentation can help companies to adapt in accordance with emerging consumer trends."

The next round of judging will be undertaken by a global panel selected from companies themselves known for innovation (including previous winners) such as The Coca-Cola Company, EMI Music, Tesco, Nokia,, John Lewis Financial Services, Adobe Systems, Euromoney Institutional Investor, Kiddicare, BSkyB and Expedia.
