The Corporate & Financial Awards, which benchmark the best in City communications, have become the premier programme for celebrating communications with the City and its influencers. Investor relations, media relations and the like are nothing new in business, but it is only recently that companies have begun to communicate with these groups using a single, unified voice.
In 2013, an array of entries – from Clinigen’s IPO to Travelodge’s crisis management during an acquisition to VTB Capital’s media and investor relations programmes – were honoured with golds at the Corporate & Financial Awards.
The Corporate & Financial Awards honour entries in a variety of categories and a panel of expert judges select only those entries that exemplify excellence in communications.
The programme is open for entry until 23 April. Enter before 26 March for a discounted entry fee. To enter, click here: http://communicatemagazine.co.uk/awards/168-corporate-a-financial-awards-2014/4988-coporate-and-financial-awards-how-to-enter
Andrew Thomas, publishing editor of Communicate magazine, says: "When we launched the Corporate & Financial Awards, we knew that corporate communications had changed. Gone are the days of segregating internal relations and public relations. In-house capabilities have expanded and external advisors and agencies have a more solid and comprehensive understanding of IR, PR and corporate communications. Companies have finally begun to tell the same stories to the investment community as they do to the journalists who influence them."
