The 9th Follow The Entrepreneur (FTE) Investor Summit 2019 kicks off in Taormina, Sicily, Italy on Sunday the 21st of July and runs through to the 25th. Around 150 delegates will be attending from around the world, discussing the future of art, corporate venturing, democracy, digital assets, gold, investment management, Italian SMEs, Japanese innovation, and transportation and mobility.
Speakers at the FTE Investor Summit 2019 include:

- Dennis Layton, Partner, Oliver Wyman
- Mark Nutt, SVP, Europe, Veritas
- Derek Roga, CEO, Equiis
We are honoured to announce that we will be joined by Congressman Naokazu Takemoto, an eight term elected member of the Japanese parliament, who will be offering insights into the potential of Japan’s SME community.
Fund managers in clean-tech, power/utility and impact investing as well as corporate venturing will be introducing new funds at the summit.
The FTE Investor Summit 2019 includes a two day Pre-Summit of networking and excursions followed by a two day Summit at the Belmond Timeo, one of the world’s most luxurious hotels. Last year’s FTE attracted entrepreneurs, investors and innovators from 42 nationalities to Dubrovnik, and we expect a similar range of experts and perspectives this year.
“Capital follows ideas; always has, always will,” says Julie Meyer, Host, Founder and CEO of the FTE. “Over the last eight years, more than 3,000 entrepreneurs and representatives of multi-family offices, sovereign wealth funds, high net-worth individuals, venture capital funds and corporate investors have come to the FTE to share their campaigns, their funds, and their projects.”
Taormina hosted the 43rd G7 summit, and the FTE 2019 will showcase several entrepreneurs from Sicily and across Italy. For more information on invitations, the programme and the speakers, see https://globalftenetwork.com/
About FTE:
The FTE believes that entrepreneurs are society’s problem solvers, and that society works best when it’s organised around innovative ideas. We have spent the last eight years promoting this philosophy, holding summits across Europe that bring together ideas and capital to start the process of enhancing society’s social, economic and political infrastructure. We are proud to be an idea-based community which is not focused on selling financial service products. https://globalftenetwork.com/
