Wednesday 29th September 2010 - Greenstone Carbon Management, the global specialist carbon solutions company, has announced that Jamie Devlin, Head of Service Delivery at Greenstone Carbon Management will present at The Carbon Show on Monday 4th October at 11:00am GMT.  In the session “Carbon Foot printing and Beyond – Map, Measure and Manage”, Jamie will discuss effective carbon foot printing techniques and showcase best practice in carbon footprinting and management.  Those wishing to attend the event can register by visiting

The Carbon 2010 Show is the UK’s first business exhibition dedicated to delivering low carbon business solutions to the global carbon market.  It will be held at The Business Design Centre, Islington, London on 4th – 5th October 2010.  The two day event will deliver the information and resources needed to help organisations succeed in the new low carbon economy.

Greenstone will also be exhibiting at the show, showcasing its enterprise carbon accounting software suite Acco2unt*.  Greenstone will demonstrate how Acco2unt enables organisations to accurately measure, manage, plan, store and report emissions data, while tracking performance on their carbon footprint at multiple organisational levels and to model carbon footprint reduction strategies.

Jamie Devlin, Head of Service Delivery at Greenstone Carbon Management said; “The benefits of carbon measurement and reporting are increasingly well recognised. Carbon represents a tangible financial cost in terms of energy, resources and services consumed. New regulatory requirements and other industry pressures are beginning to mandate carbon emissions reporting. Managing emissions through reducing consumption provides clear benefits in lowering the direct cost base of a business and minimising the financial impacts of regulatory exposure.  Our attendance at The Carbon Show will allow us to give practical demonstrations of our Acco2unt solution and show how organisations can both mitigate risk and realise significant benefits in the effective management of their carbon emissions.

Greenstone is accredited by the Carbon Trust to provide specialist carbon management strategies and solutions that help private and public sector organisations manage their climate change risks within a commercial context.  Greenstone’s consulting team includes experts with a blend of capabilities covering scientific and commercial skills in sectors such as IT, automotive, travel and leisure, building and property, utilities, financial services, FMCG and retail.
