ILX and TFPL Learning release emotional intelligence for project management whitepaper

LONDON – Tuesday 2nd June 2015ILX, the global Best Practice learning company, and TFPL Learning, a specialist provider of training, recruitment and consultancy services, have released a joint whitepaper titled, ‘Emotional intelligence for project management’.

The whitepaper explains where emotional intelligence fits in today’s modern workplace and why it is necessary for organisational efficiencies and change management. It provides points to consider when evaluating the implementation of emotional intelligence.

Russell Kenrick, Managing Director at ILX, explains, “Emotional intelligence is not a fluffy, optional skillset for organisations. Emotional intelligence is critical for successful leadership. Behaviours should align with corporate values such as managing people, demonstrating innovation and creativity. Where they do not, action can be taken to refine those behaviours. Emotional intelligence accounts for more than 85% of what differentiates star performers from an average employee in the workplace. According to TFPL Learning it is vital for HR professionals to look beyond ticking the qualification and experience boxes and to critically assess behaviours that will drive performance.
