Interoute offers a tailored graduate training programme, designed to build expertise in technology and business in the Nottingham area.

Nottingham, UK - 28th November 2017 - Interoute, the global cloud and network provider, has announced its 2017 graduate scheme in Nottingham is open for applications as it seeks out talented candidates looking for opportunities in technology and finance roles. Supporting Interoute’s global business, the scheme provides science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) graduates with an intensive programme of training that builds experience, business acumen and offers the opportunity to progress into technical and managerial roles.

  • There are 10 positions available in total, five in the cloud division and five in finance.
  • The cloud graduate scheme runs for twelve months on a rotation programme. It allows new joiners to gain a wide range of experience in areas such as DevOps and technology infrastructure as well as more consultative roles advising businesses on digital transformation programmes and solution architecture.
  • The finance graduate scheme helps candidates build experience within three key departments - accounts payable, credit control, and billing. They will also have the opportunity to study for ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualifications, which are funded entirely by Interoute.
  • All graduates will have the opportunity to develop key soft skills including presentation, client relations, collaboration and communication.

“With two universities in the city, and Loughborough nearby, Nottingham is a hot spot for talent. Nottingham is also one of the UK’s six science cities, and thanks to the prevalence of innovative research being conducted and related businesses in the area, it is known for its logical and capable graduates,” said Maurice Woolf, EVP Corporate Support at Interoute. “As a leader within the cloud computing industry, our employees are game changers, always looking for ways to push the boundaries of innovation, and we hire new talent that is excited about transforming the way businesses approach IT. We look forward to welcoming bright young minds to join our company and continue our support for the development of new STEM talent.”

Interoute is headquartered in London and employs 2100 people across Europe, America and AsiaPac. The company is highly respected and stands out as a UK based global cloud provider rated by leading analysts as among the world’s best.

Applications are open until the end of December 2017 and Interoute is looking for STEM graduates with a strong academic background as well as excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
