- Twenty-one tracks have been chosen by 17 of the leading artists of the national music scene to review the path of the "White Duke"
Madrid, May 12, 2016.- After holding three successful concerts in 2015, for Jorge Drexler, El Pescao and The Horrors, the fan-funding platform Junt3monos with Shows On Demand will carry out a unique tribute to the chameleonic British singer, David Bowie. After the first show, four more will follow which are yet to be defined, as the artists will be elected by popular demand, adhering to the philosophy that the platform was born on.
Artists like Eva Amaral, Iván Ferreira, Joel Lopez, Zahara, Pucho Vetusta Morla, Anni B Sweet, Shuarma, Joan Serra, Maika Makovski, Juan Alberto Children Mutant Julio de la Rosa, among many others, form the line-up for an evening of musical treats where they will share the stage with musicians, producers and collaborators linked to Bowie, such as Bowie’s musical director and studio musician, Henry Hey, producer and multi-instrumentalist Mark Plati and the singer and multi-instrumentalist Everett Bradley, who make this concert the greatest musical celebration in honour of the British musician's career.
The shows will take place on July 1 in the Royal Botanic Garden Alfonso XIII, Madrid and July 2 in the Razzmatazz, Barcelona. Tickets are already on sale on Junt3monos’ official website (http://www.juntemonosconsod.es/) and all proceeds raised will go to charity.
