License Control for Salesforce from Aspera enables cloud cost optimization.
Aachen/Berlin, Germany, September 26, 2017 - Last night in Berlin, Novartis, the Swiss pharmaceutical group and a client of Aspera, was awarded 1st place in the "Tool/Software" category for developing an innovative license-management solution for optimizing Salesforce licenses. Novartis AG is one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the world, with around $49 billion in sales in 2016.
The goal of the "Cloud SAM for Salesforce" project was developing a technical solution together with its partner Aspera that would provide online transparency of licenses and usage in the Salesforce platform.

"Figures in the millions are often 'not visible', because license and usage data are not made available online and consolidated.
