Enterprise Version Management Leader Extends Flexible, Affordable Licensing Options

Wokingham, UK April 24, 2012 - Perforce Software has opened new opportunities for organizations to use its robust software version management system at no cost.  With the Perforce 20/20 Program, the company provides its product free for up to 20 users and 20 workspaces, and unlimited files. This program extends an already rich set of flexible, affordable licensing options available to new Perforce users.

In related news, Perforce also announced today the general availability of its 2012.1 software version management system, featuring new distributed version control capabilities (see “Perforce Introduces Coordinated Distributed Development Capabilities with New Release of Its Software Version Management System”).

"Perforce 20/20 is a fantastic opportunity for small indie games developers like us," said Stewart Gilray, Chief Executive Officer of UK-based Just Add Water. "We need a really powerful, flexible system to keep pace with the demanding development environment we use to create the next generation of Oddworld titles, and the fact that Perforce is now free for companies and teams of our size is perfect."
