Des McKell appointed to lead European expansion for global relocation company
21 January 2016 – Plus Relocation, an established provider of global relocation services, has today announced the opening of its expanded European headquarters in London. This development is in response to rising demand from companies around the world who are relocating employees into and out of Europe and looking for high quality, personalised service. Des McKell, with over 20 years of experience in global relocation service provision, has been appointed director of business development to spearhead Plus Relocation’s expansion in Europe.

Des McKell is a global mobility professional with over 20 years’ experience in UK domestic and international relocation. He was appointed Director of Business Development at Plus Relocation in January 2016, and his key responsibility is to drive the expansion of Plus Relocation in EMEA through the creation of new long-term client partnerships.
Prior to joining Plus Relocation, McKell headed up EMEA business development at Cartus for five years. McKell’s focus is to stimulate innovative and thought provoking discussions with UK based global mobility professionals, to understand the challenges that they face and to ensure that Plus’ passion for delivering a value led, customised and truly exceptional relocation experience is front and centre of their minds.
McKell is personally passionate about supporting local and international voluntary projects and has previously spent time in Mexico working on a joint Shelter and Habitat for Humanity project. McKell has also recently completed training that will allow him to become a dementia volunteer at his local hospital. His additional interests include family time, football (Southampton FC.!), music festivals and travel.
