Wireless device trade-in and renewal leader shortlisted for GSMA’s prestigious Global Mobile Awards

Edmondson will join other mobile leaders on the “QoE: Enriching the User Experience, Enriching the Operator?” panel Wednesday afternoon to discuss how tracking and improving users’ quality of experience translates into operator profits.

eRC has also been shortlisted for the GSMA’s Global Mobile Awards, the mobile industry’s showcase for the latest and best mobile products, apps, services and initiatives in the world. eRC was named a finalist in the Green Mobile Award category, which recognizes innovative organizations pioneering mobile solutions designed to make a meaningful environmental and business impact. eRC’s integrated, point-of-sale platform offers instant, in-store credit for used mobile devices, powering device trade-ins and reuse at unprecedented scale to help wireless operators reduce e-waste, achieve sustainability goals and improve the bottom line. The winners of the Global Mobile Awards will be announced at Mobile World Congress on Tuesday, 26 February at 14:30 CET.

The annual Mobile World Congress, hosted by the GSMA, is the leading conference on mobile communications, bringing together top mobile industry leaders and professionals from more than 205 countries around the world. The theme for MWC 2013 is New Mobile Horizon, exploring how innovative mobile solutions are reshaping business and society.
