London, 26 October 2005: Leading billing software provider, LHS, today announced the unveiling of its latest product strategy at its second European customer convention. Hosted in Prague, about 70 participants from more than 40 customers across the EMEA region travelled to the event to hear about LHS’ product portfolio and roadmap. This event once more demonstrated LHS’ strong commitment to its customers and their requirements.
Those attending heard a number of presentations from LHS regarding its current billing software, as well as case studies from a number of LHS’ customers including the Greek operator, Cosmote. Cosmote presented how LHS’ billing and customer care system BSCS contributed to the successful launch of i-Mode and 3G services for the Olympic Games in Athens last year.
“We believe that this event is very important for our customers as its encourages debate around current market trends and emerging technologies in the billing industry which allows operators to share experiences and best practices, leading to better services for the end consumer,” commented Detlef Purschke, Division Officer Europe, LHS. “By hosting regular conventions on our corporate vision and strategy we are responding to customer demand for such events and demonstrating our commitment to our customers.”
The two-day event was sponsored by Sun and HP with whom LHS has strong partnerships. Hugh Roberts, associate strategist from Logan Orviss International was one of the guest speakers at the event to provide an independent view of the billing and customer care market.
